Technical data: HBSR

The HBSR is a Level Switch designed for detecting ammonia and brine refrigerants, ideal for industrial applications where high pressure and low temperatures are common. It is typically installed in refrigerant vessels, pump separators, or heat exchangers.

Features:

  • Low-temperature operation: Specifically built to function in low temperatures, with two versions to accommodate different applications:

    • One type with a liquid temperature range of -40 to 50°C (-40°F to 122°F) for refrigeration systems.

    • A second type for heat pumps with a liquid temperature range of 50 to 80°C (122°F to 176°F).

  • Pressure tolerance: Rated for pressures up to 100 bar (1450 psi).

  • Power supply: The switch operates on a 24V AC/DC power supply.

  • Split design: Simplifies installation and diagnostics; electronic parts can be removed with two screws.

  • LED indicators: Provides clear visual feedback when refrigerant is detected.
